Scottsdale Dance Lesson: Revitalize Your Marriage
When you've been married to someone for eighteen years, it is easy to fall into familiar but perhaps boring routines. My wife and kids and I had such predictable lives that if it were Wednesday, we already knew what was for dinner. The kids had their own sporting events that were as regular as clockwork. Even Sunday brunch at the club had lost its appeal. We realized that we needed to do something different to bring some new energy into our lives.
Since we live in Scottsdale where there are unlimited leisure activity opportunities, I made a number of different activity suggestions to my wife for us to engage in together. For example, I suggested taking golf lessons or music lessons. However, my wife really wanted for us to get out of our rut by taking dance lessons in Scottsdale.
The idea of taking dance lessons in Scottsdale didn't initially appeal to me. I should explain that I'm not very light on my feet and had rather little desire to dance. Since I'm no Fred Astaire, meaning that I move more like Fred Flintstone, of course the thought of taking a Scottsdale dance lesson was less than appealing to me.
I was very athletic from childhood on. But while I was a good runner and jumper, I definitely was not a dancer. I barely can tell my right from my left leg, not to mention a tango from a salsa. However, to lift our spirits and please my spouse, I determined I would give it a shot. "Dance lesson Scottsdale it is," we agreed.
It is possible this is the best thing we have ever done together. These lessons which we are taking created both of us to be very nervous. After all we are both over 40 and should know it all. However, thank goodness the instructor we had was extremely funny and very patient. All of the students were paired up; I was able to dance with my wife, and it all started by him immediately showing us the basics. I enjoyed my Scottsdale dance class.
After each lesson my wife and I go out for a bite to eat or a movie. We take what we've learned out on the town and regularly attend dance events at the local studio. It's revitalized our relationship and for a modest price has given us a new hobby. So when the band starts playing at the country club I can now lead my lovely wife confidently to the dance floor. All because of a simple Scottsdale dance lesson. Who'd have figured?
Evolutionary theory says that individuals should die of old age when their reproductive lives are complete, generally by age 55 in humans, according to demographer Cedric Pules ton, a doctoral scottsdale dance lesson scottsdale dance class dance lesson scottsdale candidate in biological sciences at Stanford. But the fatherhood of a small number of older men is enough to postpone the date with death because natural selection fights life-shortening mutations until the species is finished reproducing.Human ability to scale the so-called "wall of death"""surviving beyond the reproductive years""has been a center of scientific controversy for more than 50 years, Pules ton said.
