Rumba Dancing
Having roots at the beginning of the Cuban and Latin American dance crazes, the Rumba has found its way into many genres of music today. It is danced to everything from Country Western to Blues, Rock & Roll and many other popular forms of music. It was originally danced to music inspired by African rhythms and Spanish melodies and still hold a strong place in the heart of its conception. Although the Americanized version of Rumba has been the inspiration for other forms of dance such as the Mambo and the Cha Cha, it has remained just as much a favorite as other Latin dances.
Characterizes by what is known as "smooth staccato" and distinctive hip movement, the Rumba is a great dance introduce Cuban Motion. It is a flirty and fun dance and is an important styling element in Latin American dances.
Rumba is danced to a wide variety of music including classic Latin sounds such as those from Arturo Sandoval to more modern songs like "Let's Stay Together" by Al Green and "You'll Never Find" from Michael Buble.
The Rumba is great dance for beginners of all ages and will be enjoyed by all who experienced it.

Testimonials
Dancing has been the very best thing I have done for myself in a long time. Litttle shy me now has a group of friends and I have the confidence to talk and dance with complete strangers. All of the instructors are wonderful and I have learned so much from all of them. Exercise has never been more fun and I jump at the chance to sweat some more. In only 2 months I am down 20 pounds and even more inches. I never thought I could learn to dance so quickly and get so much out of it. Thank you from the bottom of my dancin' heart.
