Can I Learn to Dance?
Dancing is as easy as walking once you are taught how by an Arthur Murray expert. We teach simple, basic elements from which the steps are derived. Hundreds of thousands have been successfully trained in Arthur Murray Dance Studios. There is no age limit. Our oldest students are older than 70. The youngest are usually in their early teens.
Will It Take Long?
The length of the course depends on how many dances you would like to learn and how proficient you would like to become in each dance. However, you will be able to dance after your first lesson.
How Much Do Dance Lessons Cost?
Tuition depends on a number of factors: how good you want to be, what dances you want to learn, and your dance schedule. YOUR FIRST LESSON IS FREE. Afterward, the instructor will be in a position to recommend a program and you will have the knowledge to make an informed choice.
Does the Fee Need to Be Paid in Advance?
Tuition on courses is most generally paid in advance, especially Foundation Programs. However, other arrangements are also available.
When Are Lessons Offered?
Take your lessons any convenient time you wish. Our studio is open weekdays from 12:45 p.m. 9:45 p.m. and Saturday by appointment.
Will I Have an Experienced Teacher?
All of our instructors are very competent. Your teachers are selected to best suit your needs and style of learning. To qualify as Arthur Murray teachers, they must hurdle an arduous training regimen.
What Are the Benefits of Learning to Dance?
Dancing is our first line of social activity. Good dancing is a lifetime investment in fun, poise, confidence, improved personality, and new friends. Beyond these, dancing is a superb physical conditioner; it provides fun without working at it. It also opens up a wonderful new world of togetherness and a thriving year-round social calendar.
